Web Designer / Programmer

THE THOMAS GROUP, the largest full-service Advertising Agency in Sevierville, TN, is seeking a Web Designer/Programmer with programming and a graphic design background to join our creative team. The Web Designer/Programmer works closely with clientele to create, design, program and implement website designs. Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic or Web Design or similar field OR 3-4 years practical experience in designing and programming websites.

  • Proficient knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, and MySQL Databases
  • Should be committed to best practices in coding as well as web standards and usability.
  • Working knowledge of both Macintosh and PC platforms.
  • Strong aptitude for user interface design and usability, in addition to a strong grasp of color, layout, and design principles.
  • Proficiency with standard design tools, i.e. Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of digital and print graphic design.
  • Ability to work with a positive attitude as a member of a team.
  • Ability to produce and implement designs under tight timelines.
  • Flexibility and good communication skills.
  • High technical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of marketing standards and conventions.
  • Search Engine Optimization is a plus.

Advertising Sales Account Executive

THE THOMAS GROUP, the largest full-service Advertising Agency in Sevierville, TN, is seeking an Advertising Sales Account Executive to join our advertising sales team. The Advertising Sales Account Executive must have superior customer contact experience, with preference for business-to-business sales.  Experience in the advertising and/or marketing industries is a plus.
